Data deletion

How to delete the data AgentGrowth holds about you, what is deleted, what is kept and when.

Last updated:

Disconnect a connected account

If you connected a Facebook Page, an Instagram account or a LinkedIn profile or Page to AgentGrowth:

  • In AgentGrowth: open Integrations, then Social accounts, and choose Disconnect on the account. Its access tokens are deleted from our vault at once and checked to be gone, the account is marked disconnected and its scheduled posts are put on hold.
  • On Facebook: in your settings, open Business integrations (or Apps and websites), remove AgentGrowth and ask for your data to be deleted. Facebook then sends us a deletion request, described below.
  • On LinkedIn: in Settings, open Data privacy, then Permitted services, and remove AgentGrowth. Then email us to delete the data we hold.
  • Ad accounts, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile are disconnected by a workspace admin under Integrations. The workspace’s stored access is revoked (an agency’s shared connection stays with the agency), and the admin can choose to delete the statistics read from that account at the same time. For calendars and anything else, email us.

Requests from Facebook

When you remove AgentGrowth in your Facebook settings and ask for your data to be deleted, Facebook sends us a signed request. We check that it comes from Facebook, then disconnect every Facebook Page and Instagram account you connected: their access tokens are deleted and the accounts are marked disconnected. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link to a page with the status of your request.

Posts that were already published stay on Facebook and Instagram, where you can delete them yourself. The client’s record of what was published, and the audit log entry for the deletion, stay in the client’s workspace.

Ask us by email

For anything else, including deleting lead or customer data or a whole workspace, email privacy@xark.io from the address we know you by and say what you want deleted. If you are a lead or customer of one of our clients, we pass your request to that business, which decides on it, and we help carry it out.

Deleting one lead’s or customer’s data is done with AgentGrowth’s deletion tool, from that person’s record: by the business’s admin, or by us on its behalf. After the deletion, the tool reads every table that refers to the person again and records a receipt showing that nothing identifying them is left. Deleting a whole workspace is still done by hand on request.

What is deleted and what is kept

  • Deleted: the access tokens of the accounts concerned; the contact details, messages, call transcripts, bookings, tasks and other personal information your request covers; your sign-in account if you ask us to close it.
  • Kept: consent records, records of messages sent, opt-outs and the audit log, which are append-only, with your phone number, email, name and IP address replaced by one-way hashes or removed; your phone number and email on the do-not-contact list, so that a STOP or a deletion keeps being honored; a business’s totals (for example that a lead came from an ad, and when) without anything that identifies you; and information the law requires us to keep. We use what we keep only as evidence.
  • Call recordings are stored by the voice provider that made them: a deletion removes our copy of the transcript and our link to the recording, and the recording itself is deleted at the provider by hand when you ask for it.

When

  • Disconnecting an account in AgentGrowth, requests sent by Facebook and a deletion made with the tool take effect within minutes.
  • We reply to email requests within 7 days and aim to complete them within 30 days. If we need longer, or cannot delete something, we tell you why.

Check a request

If Facebook gave you a confirmation code, open the link that came with it to see the status of your request. The status page shows only the status, never your data.
